Bethany Sprague, FNP-C
Care for patients who have not found answers
Some patients arrive after years of being told everything looks fine while they continue to struggle. Their symptoms are real, but the usual model has not connected the full picture.
Bethany Sprague's clinical work is built for these complicated, multi-system cases: patients with layered symptoms, incomplete answers, and health concerns that do not fit neatly into one category.

A root-cause approach to complex care
Drawing on integrative and functional medicine, Bethany looks for root drivers beneath symptoms, including metabolic, hormonal, immune, gut, nervous system, inflammatory, and environmental contributors. The goal is not to chase every symptom in isolation. The goal is to understand the larger pattern and build a more coherent plan.
AI-enhanced pattern recognition
Bethany completed the Harvard Medical School Artificial Intelligence in Health Care program in January 2025, where she was recognized among the top performers in her cohort. She is trained in the ethical use of AI in health care and applies these tools carefully, with privacy, safety, clinical responsibility, and human judgment at the center.
In her clinical work, AI is used to help organize complex information, identify patterns across symptoms, labs, history, environment, and treatment response, and support a more complete view of the patient's story.
AI does not replace clinical judgment, diagnosis, or the provider-patient relationship. It is used as a disciplined support tool to help ask better questions, reduce cognitive blind spots, and bring more structure to complex care.
This approach allows Bethany to combine functional medicine, clinical experience, and ethical AI-supported analysis in service of one goal: seeing the whole picture more clearly.
Who this is for
This approach is not designed for urgent care, emergency concerns, or one-size-fits-all protocols. It is designed for patients who want to better understand and address the underlying drivers of their health.
